About

We – Joanna & Lee (JoLee!) – live in California with our two sweet, lovable hound dogs, Lola and Gigi. They each have their quirks, as is common with rescue dogs, but we love them.

We met through mutual work friends in 2008 when we both worked at Lockheed Martin. We lived in Queen Village in Philly, until we moved west to start working at Apple on the same day in April 2016. Joanna retired in April 2026, which was the first time we didn’t work at the same place.

We’ve had so many great adventures along the way, including getting married in Vegas and backpacking in Guatemala for their honeymoon, fully gutting and renovating a row house in Philadelphia, traveling all over the US in our Sprinter (sometimes with a Jeep in tow), going to more Tampa Bay Buccaneers games than we can count, and spending as much time with our families as possible.

This blog is about our adventures and the things we love. It’s mostly a way for friends and family to keep up with what we’re doing, but we’re happy to have others follow our journey as well.
